Write and run queries
The editor runs anything from a quick select to a multi-table update directly against your database.
Line numbers, syntax highlighting and a one-tap formatter keep longer statements readable on a phone, and
the same editor scales up to the larger layout on iPad.
It is built for the questions that come up away from your desk: did the migration run, how many people signed up since the last deploy, which row did that customer actually change. You type the query, run it and read the answer without opening a laptop or a desktop browser.
Results you can read on a small screen
Results open under the editor with a preview of the first rows and a status line that tells you whether the query succeeded. When you need every column, the full results view gives the result set the whole screen. Export it to CSV when it needs to go into a spreadsheet, a ticket or a message to a colleague.
History and snippets
Recent queries stay in history, so the statement you ran during an incident is still there when you write the post-mortem. Queries you run often can be saved as snippets and opened from the toolbar in one tap, which saves a lot of typing on glass.
A warning before destructive statements
On a phone, a mistyped statement is easier than it should be. Supanator warns you before a destructive query runs, so you confirm it first and the database sees it second. Reads run immediately, as you would expect.
Query builder and AI assistant
If you would rather not type SQL at all, the query builder assembles a query visually from tables, columns and filters. The AI assistant helps you write SQL, design schemas and draft Row Level Security policies, and it uses your project's structure as context, so its suggestions refer to tables and columns that actually exist.
Supabase Cloud and self-hosted
The editor works the same way for Supabase Cloud projects and for self-hosted Supabase. On self-hosted stacks with direct Postgres access, Supanator also
shows administration views such as active connections and query performance from pg_stat_statements.
Free and Pro
Running queries, reading results and exporting them is free. Saved snippets, the query builder, the AI assistant and the SQL generator come with Pro. The Free and Pro comparison lists everything else.
